Inaugural Visit to Far Rockaway
After three summers of riding the N train to Coney Island, I finally got around to switching it up and taking the A across the bridge to Far Rockaway. Lured by visions of sandy dunes and quiet beaches, I was not disappointed. The day started at 9am on Beach 69th Street and I slowly made my way down Jacob Riis Park at the far end of the island, making pit stops at Rockaway Taco, the Breezy Dog Truck & Fort Tilden Park.
